IMPORTANT REGISTRATION TIPS/ NOTES PLEASE READ:

To start choose "New User Account"

This is a new event which requires you to set-up a new user account. You may use previous academy log-in information as your new user information. Everyone must start by completing the NEW USER ACCOUNT section. 

Changes/updates to your registration:

 Once your initial registration has been submitted you CAN NOT MAKE CHANGES on your own. You will need to contact us (719)589-1400 or info@cwfima.org to make changes!


Multiple Registrations:

If you are registering multiple employees, please use THEIR email during registration and you may add your email in the additional email field to receive registration communication. If you do not follow these directions you will overwrite each student you register by using the same email address. 


Full Classes and Waitlist:

If a class if full, contact us to be added to the waitlist info@cwfima.org or call (719)589-1400. DO NOT REGISTER until you are approved from the waitlist.

Please read the prerequisites and qualifications for each class and make sure you have met the requirements. We will ask for copies of your required certificates if necessary. If there is any reason you do not meet the requirements but feel you still need to take the class, please email us immediately.

L-380: Fireline Leadership

Prerequisites:

  1. Incident personnel with supervisory responsibilities
  2. Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service (L-180)
  3. Completion of pre-course work prior to the first day of class (this will be emailed once you have been accepted into the course.)

Staff and Instructors

 


Lodging:

The Academy will make hotel reservations for staff and instructors to be sure we meet our contract obligations with the hotel! We will use the information provided in your registration to set your reservation then email you a week before the event with your hotel confirmation #. If your agency is paying you may put your credit card on file when you arrive. 

 

Travel & Per Diem:

Please let us know if you are claiming per diem. Anyone claiming mileage will need to provide a Google map or other map with directions to/from your house/office to the Marriott of Colorado Springs. Our grant documentation now requires this information.

Terms and Conditions
You must cancel before October 22nd to receive a full refund. Any cancellations after that date will incur a $50/ class day to cover guaranteed cost for the event. No shows will not be refunded, qualified substitutions are welcome!
