This is a new event which requires you to set-up a new user account. You may use previous academy log-in information since each Academy is its own event. Everyone must start by completing the NEW USER ACCOUNT section. You can't request a password change unless you have set-up a NEW USER ACCOUNT for the 2024 EVENT.

Multiple Registrations:

If you are registering multiple employees, please use THEIR email during registration and you may add your email in the additional email field to receive registration communication. If you do not follow these directions you will overwrite each student you register by using the same email address.

L-950: NIMS ICS All-Hazards Incident Commander

Course Description:

This course provides local- and state- level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Incident Commander (IC) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories:

1) Responding to the incident and command needs of the incident

2) Effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of an IC on an All-Hazards ICS IMT

This course is an instructor-led training that supports learning through discussion, lecture, and active participation in multiple exercises that provides a realistic, scenario-driven approach to mastering the skills required of an IC. Exercises, simulations, discussions, and a final exam enable participants to process and apply their new knowledge.

Prerequisites: ICS-300, ICS-400, ICS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800

Course Description:

This course provides local- and state- level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Safety Officer (SOFR) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories:

1) Responding to the incident and the safety needs of the incident

2) Effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of an SOFR on an AHIMT

This course is an instructor-led training that supports learning through discussion, lecture, and active participation in multiple exercises that provides a realistic, scenario-driven approach to mastering the skills required of a SOFR. Exercises, simulations, discussions, and a final exam enable participants to process and apply their new knowledge.

Course Description:

This course provides local -and state-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Logistics Section Chief (LSC) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories: responding to the incident and effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of a Logistics Section Chief on an AHIMT.

This course is an instructor-led training that supports learning through discussion, lecture, and active participation in multiple exercises that provides a realistic, scenario-driven approach to mastering the skills required of an LSC. Exercises/simulations, discussions, and a final exam enable participants to process and apply their new knowledge.
