WAIVED if you are staying at the Hyatt Regency Denver, the host hotel.

The host hotel is discounting their room rate over 40% to the prevailing GSA rate. The Association strives to keep the costs to attend the symposium at the lowest possible amount. In our efforts to do so, certain guaranteed room minimums are made to the host hotel in return for concessions and cost reductions. To help cover these additional cost we are required to charge an additional fee to those attending the conference but choosing NOT to stay at the host hotel. 
Note: Attendees from Colorado and local agencies that live within 50 miles of the Hyatt Regency Denver are exempted from this fee. This is due to travel rules not allowing travel reimbursement to locations within 50 miles of their home.
